Job Responsibilities
Are you a truly skilled educator who wants to work on pedagogical development alongside your teaching duties? Then you might be the one we are looking for as we seek a lead teacher for Rosengård School 4-6.
Rosengård School currently has 12 engaged lead teachers who conduct pedagogical development at the school on behalf of the management team. As a lead teacher with us, you will drive the pedagogical development work at the school in close collaboration with the school leadership, together with your lead teacher colleagues. You have a special responsibility for the development work in your work team and for creating a consistent thread in all of the school's activities together with your colleagues.
In close consultation with the school leadership, you will have good conditions to plan, implement, and evaluate the development initiatives for which you are responsible. Your development initiatives inspire your colleagues and contribute to a higher degree of goal fulfillment.
At the same time, the main part of your position involves teaching in grades 4-6. You will conduct varied, creative, and enjoyable teaching for our students, both individually and in teams. You will find strategies to reach every student and contribute to increased goal fulfillment. You will plan, assess, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. The lead teacher works at their own workplace but may also have a municipal/administrative cross-mission by spreading good examples.
Qualifications
You who are applying are a certified teacher for grades 4-6. It is advantageous if you also have qualifications for F-3. It is also beneficial if you are qualified in Swedish as a second language or mathematics. You have extensive experience teaching in the mentioned grades and working on language and knowledge development in all subjects. If you have experience teaching according to the Singapore model, we view it positively. We place great importance on having a clear structure in your classroom and a clear leadership where you create good relationships with each student. You should have experience leading work teams, and it is advantageous if you have experience as a lead teacher. You have a good ability to see the whole in the operation and to organize the daily work based on the students' needs and the work team's conditions.
To be eligible for the position of lead teacher, you must be able to document at least four years of well-documented work after graduation with teaching within the framework of one or more employment within the school system. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience mentoring other teachers or driving pedagogical development processes.
Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional and low-affective approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
To fit as a lead teacher with us, it is important that you lead yourself in your assignment, easily create relationships, and enjoy a varied job with much responsibility. You are easy to collaborate with and are both flexible and curious. In the classroom, you have a good structure and clear leadership.

Welcome to us at Rosengård School! We are a F-9 school with nearly 500 students in the Herrgården area of Rosengård, close to beautiful green areas, an ice rink, and a swimming pool.
